14 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 08.11.2017 The term's Rugby and Hockey fixtures are in full swing now, with recent success for the 1st XII Rugby side over St John’s being the stand out performance. Trailing 4-1 at half time, to score 5 unanswered tries in the second half and win 6-4 is a remarkable achievement. Our U8 sides recently played their first competitive Rugby fixtures after the success of their Rugby Development Day, and both the U12/U13 sides have made positive starts to their THL campaign. As the weather is getting colder from now on, please can all boys ensure they are appropriately dressed for outdoor PE/Games lessons. Hats, gloves, base layers & tracksuits are all essential.
