Crescunda 2
1 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 08.11.2017 It was an honour for our Year 8 pupils and some of the staff to be invited to the Merchant Taylors’ School Triennial Service at St Paul’s Cathedral just before half term. The occasion was splendid, to say the least, and I know that pupils, staff and parents appreciated the opportunity to be there. As usual, the school is busy with the everyday joy of learning as well as many events. A selection of what we have been up to is included in this second edition of Crescunda. One very memorable highlight was last week’s Fireworks Night, organised by the Parents’ Association. I cannot thank them enough for making it another spectacular evening and I am extremely grateful to the numerous families that came to support the event. As winter is now drawing in and evenings are getting darker after school, we have installed some new lighting on the driveway and brighter lights around the car park. These are a huge improvement to when you are collecting but please do remember to drive safely when entering the school at any time of day, particularly when it is dark.
