3 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 12.12.2017 House News December 2017 The Carol Service provided a fitting end to a busy and rich Autumn term. We congratulate the Choirs and Readers for this seasonal gift. Recent festivities enjoyed by the boys include three Spelling Bees, House Quizzes, House Cross Country, a Christmas Concert, an Evening of Poetry and Prose (LAMDA), a Johnson Year 8 Pantomime, a Paper Chain Challenge (pictured below) and a traditional Christmas Feast. The older boys ate in their Houses as usual and Y8 thanked the kitchen staff on the occasion of their last Christmas lunch at Merchant Taylors’ Prep. Talking of last occasions, both The Prep School and Newton House would like to thank Miss Marshall for her contribution as she heads home to Australia.
