26 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 28.03.2018 MTP ThisMonth I Believe in Unicorns Tuesday 13th March was a major highlight in this term’s busy calendar. Danyah Miller returned to the Lalani New Barn Theatre to perform her beautiful version of Michael Morpurgo’s book, ‘I Believe in Unicorns’. This sold out event was enjoyed by young and old, with everyone mesmerised by the storytelling as they were magically transported to other worlds from the pages of the books. It was delightful to hear the children’s appreciative ‘ooh’ and ‘aah’ throughout the show and the whispered questions of ‘how did she do that?’ and ‘is that really true? Inviting the audience to be part of a book swap and book rescue also allowed the children to feel a part of the story. Thank you to the P.A. for supporting this very special event and for providing snacks, drinks and roadies!
