2 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 28.03.2018 House News Round Up The biannual Dragons’ Den challenge (photos below) where each House selects and pitches a school improvement idea to Senior Management was a recent House highlight. J3’s standardised but personalised Water Bottle, L3’s plastic token idea and W3’s House colours flash were particularly well received. House Football was fiercely contested. House Tutors enjoyed the Year 6 production and extend best wishes to music and LAMDA exam candidates and to our skiers who head to The Dolomites over Easter. Johnson, Newton and Wren would also like to acknowledge Mrs Nicholas’ contribution to their Houses in her final week at MTP. We are currently wearing Marie Curie Daffodils as a school and held our House Charity Day on Tuesday 27th March to support Michael Sobell Hospice, Mount Vernon Hospital. The Big Vote in November 2017 saw pupils decide to Stand Up To Cancer. The Great MTP Bake Off, Egg & Spoon Races, Easter Egg Hunt & Raffle and Football Challenges were a great success.
