30 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 28.03.2018 MTP Maths Bonus Round Primary Maths Challenge On the 7th February three boys in Year 6 competed in the Bonus Round of the Primary Maths Challenge. They had qualified for the Bonus Round by scoring 20 or more out of 25 in the first round in November 2017. They faced some challenging questions but scored highly again and received two bronze certificates and one silver certificate. UKMT Team Maths Competition Four boys represented MTP at the UKMT Team Maths Competition in Wembley. The competition was attended by 27 schools with teams composed of both Y8 and Y9 pupils. The boys answered over 100 questions over the course of the day and did very well to finish in the top half.
