29 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 06.07.2018 MTP IT Bloodhound competition UK National Finals - RAF Wittering - Thursday, 28th June 2018 The Night Riders’ team with Mrs Hibbert left the school at 7am to attend the UK National finals of the Bloodhound Race. We registered our team and had opportunity to walk around the STEM village. After the briefing all teachers had to step away. Our team had one hour to design and build our car. We all worked well together. Very excited and ready to race, we all got taken by bus to the airfield for an air display. With a deafening sound the UK Air Force Typhoon arrived followed shortly by Red Arrows. It was an amazing display that we will never forget. 58 Cars raced on the day and it was an incredible event to be a part of. Measure twice and cut once The cars are ready for racing Carnage 3
