In competition the boys won the MTS Lamb Cup out of 9 local sides. They also won the ESCA Herts County Cup. In doing so represented Herts in the East of England Regionals. After dismissing two sides from Essex and one from Suffolk, the boys lost a very tight game by just two runs to a Cambs school in what was effectively a last 16 in the country match.
