19 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 27.09.2018 MTP Drama Record-Breaking Y7 LAMDA results! Congratulations to our Summer Term Y7 LAMDA cohort who achieved an impressive 8 Distinctions and 1 Merit in our latest set of results, including record-breaking scores of 97% for Fikunmi Olutunbi (8W2) and an astounding 98% for Ahren Chadha (8J3)! As a year group, last year’s Y7 achieved an impressive 27 Distinctions and 4 Merits with a record-breaking average of over 86% per pupil. This is an incredible achievement for all concerned. 217 Y7 pupils have now undertaken LAMDA exams over the past eight years, averaging over 80% per pupil (a Distinction in itself!) on their way to 134 Distinctions, 79 Merits and 4 Passes.
