5 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 16.11.2018 Parent Consultations in Years 3 & 4, Tutorials in Years 5 & 6 and October’s School Council have all taken place. Pupil Voice is about impact as much as ideas. Recent developments include House Colours (first awarded at Celebration Afternoon 2018), a new Suggestion Box with voting tokens and ‘The Conkertition’. Y7 pupils Darshan, Jack and Yash are congratulated on their ‘Bonkers for Conkers’ charity initiative with the collecting, drilling and stringing of conkers. The four Houses would also like to thank the PA and their volunteers for the Cake Sale before half-term and the Fireworks last week. Your support of Poppies and Christmas Shoeboxes is also acknowledged. Anti-Bullying Week is now upon us including the wearing of ‘Odd Socks’ to respect difference as well as ‘Bowvember’, our version of Movember. MTP House News Fantasy Premier League Update We have a school league of 36 teams with a weekly match play format rather than classic points accumulation. Rian Shah 5J3 leads the way with 21 points (7 wins out of 7!) with Zain Momin 7J3 and Mr Crook hot on his heels. Zain was Manager of the Month for October and Joshua Jassal 8J1 the top manager in September.
