7 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 16.11.2018 MTP Remembrance Events MTP Remembrance day service To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armistice at the end of the First World War, MTP boys planted poppy seeds in the Memorial Garden while the Year 4 Choir sang The Rose of No Man’s Land, conducted by Mrs Hawkes. Meanwhile, the Senior Choir was preparing for the Merchant Taylors’ Company’s Concert of Remembrance of Hope, in Birmingham Symphony Hall, which was a musical, artistic and literary display of our combined schools’ talents, and was both sombre and uplifting.
