5 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 08.02.2019 MTP Parents’Association Happy 2019! We would like to take this opportunity to share with you details of a few on the fantastic events we have been planning for you. • MTP Literary Festival: Tuesday 26th February - Friday 1st March. The PA will be assisting Mrs Smith with the Book Sale each afternoon and we look forward to serving the boys drinks and treats whilst they browse through the books on offer. Should we have sufficient stock, we hope to run the uniform sale alongside the book sale. As always, we are extremely grateful for your donations of the uniform your boys have outgrown. • Mufti Day: Friday 15th February Our traditional non-uniform day where the boys enjoy a morning snack of popcorn, cake and hot chocolate. This will be the first Mufti Day of 2019 where we will be raising funds for the Anthony Nolan, UK charity whose aim is to save the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders. This charity has been chosen in memory of Kaiya, the courageous little girl who sadly passed away earlier this month. • Comedy Quiz Night: Friday 15th March An adults only quiz night hosted by Patrick Monahan who many of you will remember from our Comedy night last year. This is definitely one evening you do not want to miss. Start getting your teams ready as we will have prizes for the winning teams, the best dressed team and much more! As always we will have plenty of food and a licenced bar to keep you going!
