7 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 15.03.2019 An Vrombaut BookWeek andWorld Book Day On Wednesday the author, illustrator and animator of 64 Zoo Lane, An Vrombaut, returned to Nursery and Pre- Prep to introduce a new generation of boys to her book characters, with some engaging storytelling, a rather large toothbrush and some bubbles. Year 1 designed a very long neck for Georgina the Giraffe. Year 2 were enthralled by An’s films and the Zoetrope. Under her guidance the boys skilfully created their own animation strips to then watch in these exciting optical illusion devices.
