8 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 15.03.2019 Y8 Theatre Visit to ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’ BookWeek andWorld Book Day On 28th February, 32 excited Year 8 boys attended the National Theatre’s ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’ at the Piccadilly Theatre in London’s West End as part of our Book Week celebrations. As well as thoroughly enjoying this fantastic and ground- breaking adaptation of Mark Haddon’s acclaimed novel, our boys were even lucky enough to meet cast member Lucas Hare, who portrayed Mr Shears in the production. It really was a spectacular theatrical event and an unforgettable experience for all. Thanks to Mr Knight, Mr Reedy, Mrs Smith and Mrs Gadd for their support and patience on the visit.
