8 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 17.05.2019 MTP Parents’Association A warm welcome back to a fun filled second half of our summer term where we already have details of a numbers of events that we would like to share with you. Friday 17th May Parents’ Charity Coffee Morning in aid of Cancer Research – 8.00am to 8.30am Please join us in the school dining hall for a cup of tea/coffee and a pastry for a suggested donation of £2.00. All proceeds will be donated to Cancer Research in memory of Vishal Savadia, dad to Rayan (Yr1) and Kian (Rec). We will ensure that we have takeaway cups for those of you who need to get your coffee/tea to go! Friday 17th May Mufti Day and Cake Sale Our committee and baking volunteers are busy baking cupcakes ready for our next Mufti Day and Cake Sale. All proceeds will be donated to Cancer Research. Vishal was a passionate Tottenham Hotspur supporter, to celebrate this, we would like to request that the boys come to school wearing an item of blue or white clothing. Please note, the boys should not wear football strips or super hero costumes. Uniform Sale – Date TBC We will be holding our next uniform sale later this term. This will replace the uniform sales at the Sports day summer markets as noted in the school calendar. With that in mind, we request that you kindly pass on any unwanted MTP uniform to one of the members of the PA or drop into the school office as we are continuously collecting for our uniform sales. Tuesday 18th June - AGM We will be holding our AGM on Tuesday 18th June at school at 8pm. For those parents that wish to attend please could we request that you email MTPPA@ mtpn.co.uk to confirm your attendance. Finally…our Volunteer Coordinator, Fabricia is currently updating her database of Committee Volunteers.
