4 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 05.07.2019 MTP House News It has been a busy month for Houses. House Doubles Tennis was won by Livingstone in Y7/8 and Y5/6. House Table Tennis was also won by Livingstone and House Cricket was won by Wren in both Y5/6 and Y7/8. Unfortunately, Senior Sports Day fell victim to the weather but Johnson triumphed in Y3/4 House Athletics. Newton won House Chess with Wren’s Parth Malhotra (5W1) the individual winner. Year 7 pupils are thanked for their House Captain applications and speeches at the last House meeting. We welcomed Year 4 pupils to their new tutor groups at our ‘moving up’ session last week. We had House Prize Giving on Celebration Afternoon as usual. We say farewell to Mrs Ciccone after 5 years’ service to the school and contributions to both Livingstone and Wren Houses. In September, Mr Knight joins Mr Kopel in L1, Mr Winn and Mr Hattam assist L2 and Mr Cho-Yee is assigned to N3. Heads of House Johnson win Y3&4 House Athletics Year 3 & 4 Sports Day
