9 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 15.11.2019 MTP Pre-Prep Pre-Prep This term I have been delighted to see how much the boys have enjoyed learning through our topics and the exciting activities in which they participate really inspire them to do their very best. The photographs show a selection of the highlights from the last few weeks. They include the boys at The Manor showing empathy as they enjoyed a visit from a Pet Workshop as part of their topic about animals. The Nursery boys also enjoyed looking after Mrs Carritt’s dog, Ludo, for the day and he was certainly well loved! Our topic about Pirates continues in Year 1 and Year 2 and as part of this the boys went to visit the Golden Hinde. They had a wonderful time and the photographs show boys in Year 1 enjoying their day. They also had a treat when Ollie Heath visited for some African drumming workshops. Ollie always inspires the children when he visits us and the photographs show the boys in Year 2 joining in their class workshops and painting pictures of drums. We have also celebrated Diwali in Pre-Prep. The photographs show boys in Reception participating in a range of activities after they enjoyed a presentation from a group of parents.
