25 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 23.10.2020 Student Microsoft Innovative Educators MTP Computing At the other end of the school, we are delighted that Year 7 & 8 students have qualified as Microsoft Innovative Educators. This is a qualification aimed mainly at serving teachers. However, Microsoft confirmed there was no reason why committed students shouldn’t take the courses and gain certification. There are many pathways to choose from and our students followed their own interests. Some focused on digital inclusion, while others explored the theories behind multimedia learning. We believe we have the youngest MIEs in the world! It’s a testament to our students’ focus, commitment and insatiable curiosity. They are an outstanding group of talented learners.
