3 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 16.12.2021 MTP Pre-Prep Year 1 and Year 2 Christmas Production It is so hard to believe that we have come to the end of the term and that Christmas is almost with us. The boys in Pre- Prep have done so very well and I am really proud of them all. It has been a busy term and the boys have enjoyed many exciting topic activities. Year 1 and 2 concluded their topic about Pirates with Pirate Day at school and it was wonderful to see their colourful and imaginative costumes. They enjoyed an exciting hunt through the school grounds, following clues to find Pirate Treasure and I am sure the photos will give you a flavour of the fun they had! Our Christmas performances have been a great success and we were so pleased that, with appropriate risk assessments in place, we were able to invite parents to the theatre to watch the shows. Y1 and Y2 performed with such confidence in ‘Manger Mouse” and we were delighted by the Nursery and Reception Concert. It was a great effort from all the boys and thank you for all your support supplying such wonderful costumes. We have all been getting ready for Christmas too as the photos from The Manor show. The boys have also enjoyed traditional feasts, parties and a visit from magician Richard Pinner! We wish you all a very Happy Christmas and hope that you all have a peaceful time together with your family over the holidays.
