19 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 10.02.2022 MTP Year 3 In English we have been learning about Ancient Myths. We had to read some myths and choose our favourite one. We then drew a flow map to sequence the events and used it to help us tell the story aloud to the class. This helped us to identify the key features of myths so that we could use them when we planned and wrote our own myth. We have really enjoyed using our Write Like a Ninja books, alongside our weekly Vocabulary Ninja lessons, to help increase our vocabularies and make our writing more descriptive. This term we used them to find imaginative words to describe our mythical monsters and heroes. English
