40 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 10.02.2022 I think we can all agree that January has flown by, and with the half term break around the corner, hopefully this will provide a much needed break post the January assessments and a chance for the boys and all the family to recharge our batteries. As a result of the current guidelines PA plans have had to change and The PA are now hoping to run our next uniform sale in the new academic term. This will however again be dependent on our school guidelines at the time. We are still collecting uniforms and you can drop any MTP uniform into the main reception. We are in particular need of sports kits and coats. We would be grateful if all uniforms are washed and cleaned and in a saleable condition, all name tags removed and all buttons and zips in working order. The last two years have been unique in many ways and we haven’t been able to hold as many events as we would in any normal academic year. However, the Parents Association is still going as strong as ever. Please feel free to come along to one of our meetings to gain further insight into the work of the PA and find out ways to get involved. School events are a great way to immerse yourself into the MTP family and if it wasn’t for our fantastic parent community and the support we get, we would not be able to hold the events that we do. We look forward to your continued support next year. We wish everyone a safe and relaxing break. We look forward to seeing you back after half term.
