2 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 25.03.2022 Welcome from the Head Once again this newsletter contains a huge variety of information that shows the vibrancy of life at our school and the many opportunities we provide to enrich our pupils’ learning. The Year 6 Production of ‘Our Day Out’ last week was, by all accounts, thoroughly excellent, and showcases how important the arts are to our curriculum. The creativity of costumes for World Book Day was a joy to see and the many author visits help to inspire our pupils to be avid readers and writers, as shown by the very impressive Y5 collaborative story writing. I do hope that you enjoy seeing a flavour of what goes on here at school. I would like to congratulate some pupils in Y6 for being awarded scholarships (see photo below). The named academic scholarships for MTS went to Gabriel Birch (Wolsey Scholarship), Khush Galaiya (Terry Scholarship) and Yuveer Singh Cheema (Lee Scholarship). Entrance Scholarships for MTS were awarded to Aaryan Prabhaker, Eashan Shah and Nathaniel Williams. Exhibition Awards for MTS were awarded to Pranav Lakhani and Rohan Naran. Shuban Sellaturay has been awarded a Drama Scholarship for St Margaret’s School. I hope that you all have a wonderful break over Easter and I look forward to seeing you again on Tuesday 19th April.
