60 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 25.03.2022 Wishing you all a Happy Easter! I think we can all agree that the Easter holidays have come around very fast this term. Hopefully this will provide a welcome break for the boys and parents to unwind and enjoy the break. It has been lovely to witness the excitement and buzz at school surrounding this year’s Book Week. The boys and teachers made a fantastic effort dressing up as their favourite book characters. Having these wonderful events back on the calendar gives us encouragement that life in school is slowly but surely returning to normal. As a result of the current guidelines, PA plans have had to change, and the PA are now hoping to run our next uniform sale in the new academic term. This will however again be dependent on our school guidelines at the time, but we are very hopeful that PA activities will resume next term. We are still collecting uniforms and you can drop any MTP uniform into the main reception. We are in particular need of sports kits and coats. We would be grateful if all uniforms are washed and cleaned and in a saleable condition, all name tags removed and all buttons and zips in working order. The Parent’s Association is still going as strong as ever. Please feel free to come along to one of our meetings to gain further insight into the work of the PA and find out ways to get involved. School events are a great way to immerse yourself into the MTP family and if it wasn’t for our fantastic parent community and the support we get, we would not be able to hold the events that we do. We look forward to your continued support over the next year. We wish everyone a safe and relaxing Easter and look forward to seeing you back in the new term.
