20 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 14.10.2022 MTP House News Belated congratulations to Wren who won the first event of the new term and year by creating the longest paperchain (pictured below). It’s amazing how much fun can be had from paper, rulers, scissors, glue and a stopwatch! New House members received their badges, new officers were introduced in the first House meetings of the year and proud House Captains received their coloured ties. Mr Gough, Mr Stuart and Ms Katsarou are the new tutors of J3, L1 & W1 respectively. ‘Last One Standing 2022’ is underway and over 30 school members have entered this year’s Fantasy Football league. Other competitions this term include General Knowledge, Accelerated Reader, IXL Maths, Cross Country and Football as well as the usual House Points. Thanks for the generous Harvest gifts this week for the local food bank, the Lord Mayor of London’s running event and in advance for support for Movember/Bowvember and Remembrance poppies in November.
