33 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 16.12.2022 MTP House News We had our traditional school post box for Christmas cards, a Christmas concert, a carol service and a Christmas Feast on Wednesday in our festive Dining Hall. As is tradition, Y5-8 ate in their Houses with their fellows and tutors rather than their usual year groups. The lunch order was ingeniously decided by a recent Christmas Assembly game. Other events recently enjoyed by the pupils include the daytime World Cup match (England 6 Iran 2) in a raucous theatre (pictured) and House General Knowledge Quiz, Cross Country & Football which add much flavour and a little spice to winter festivities. Thanks for everyone’s support of ‘Socks N Chocs’, a charity project which offers support to the local homeless and timely intervention in dropping temperatures. Winners of merit & double merit badges for House points, the Watson cup for the individual with the most house points and the termly Lee House cup and will be announced on our return in January.
