34 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 16.12.2022 MTP Music On Thursday 8th December, we hosted our annual Christmas Concert for boys in Years 3-8; our first live one since 2019! The evening’s festive programme featured a huge variety of talent from across the school, including our Brass, Guitar String and Wind Ensembles; our Choristers group; a number of soloists, duets and trios; and our Year 3-4 choir, Taylors’ Trebles, who bookended the concert. There were also plenty of opportunities for the adults to get involved, including the MTP staff’s rendition of Good King Wenceslas, and Mr Crook’s leading of the audience in a special rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas. Great fun was had by all involved and we look forward to doing it all again in our Spring Concert in March! Mr Stuart Director of Music Christmas Concert
