43 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 16.12.2022 MTP Maths At the beginning of October a group of boys in Year 7 visited Merchant Taylors’ School for a Maths competition. The afternoon started with a Maths trail around the school where they had to count and estimate different objects. For example, the boys were asked to estimate the height of the flag pole. In the second part of the afternoon one boy in the group was selected to compete against boys in the other schools in an intense 15 question quiz. The questions were challenging and thought provoking. The MTP representative ended up coming second in the competition which was an excellent achievement. We were all very proud!
