45 Merchant Taylors’ Prep School Newsletter - 16.12.2022 MTP Modern Languages Year 5 have been using iPads to practise their French listening and speaking skills, using Linguascope. All boys have access to this software package and website both at home and in school. There is a variety of languages to choose from. Each language has a range of activities and topics. As part of enrichment, boys can practise their pronunciation and vocabulary through different games and even explore a new language, such as Maori. Year 5 have been describing personalities and appearance, learning about adjectives and how the sound of words can change depending on who or what they are describing. A favourite game of Year 5 this term has been “Répétition”. Linguascope
