Fees for 2024-2025

As of January 2025, our termly fees (including VAT) are as follows:

School Lunches
Lunches remain a compulsory element of education at Merchant Taylors’ and are charged at £321 per term.

Registration Fees

To register your child for a place at Merchant Taylors' Prep, please complete the Application Form and submit it, along with a registration fee of £180 (including VAT), to the School Admissions Department. Please refer to our website for details on how we process your data.

Following assessment, an official offer may be made, and you will be required to complete and return the Parental Acceptance Form along with a deposit of £1,000. This deposit is divided as follows:

• £600 will be set against the first term’s tuition fees
• £400 will be set against the final account
• £60 is a non-refundable administrative fee (inclusive of VAT)

It is anticipated that your son will remain at Merchant Taylors' Prep until the end of Year 6, at the age of 11. This condition may be waived in certain circumstances at the Head’s discretion. Please refer to the admissions section of our website for further information.

Additional Charges

• There is an additional charge for individual Music Tuition and clubs requiring external coaches. Parents will be invoiced directly by the tutor in charge.
• Payments for school visits will be requested by the teacher in charge prior to the visit.

Terms of Entry

The submission of an application form implies acceptance of our terms and conditions (available on request). However, this does not obligate parents to accept a place, nor does it guarantee an offer of a place at this stage.
